How much will solar cost me?

A new residential Solar Federal Tax Credit was implemented in 2009. The old one was capped at $2,000. With the new one one you can claim up to 30% of installation costs for a new system. Expires: December 31, 2016. This works well when coupled with a state rebate program. (CA, CT, NJ, NY). There are also special programs in some cities.
